1. Eligibility for Residency
A&B Affordable Housing Solutions LLC (ABAHS) provides affordable, non-medical shared housing in a safe, substance-free environment. Residency is limited to individuals who are fully independent in all activities of daily living. Residents must demonstrate cognitive capacity to make informed decisions, comply with any applicable court-ordered or medical requirements, ambulate independently, and respond appropriately to emergency situations without assistance.

2. Accommodations and Services Included
Each ABAHS residence offers private or semi-private furnished bedrooms. Bed linens are provided. Residency includes all utilities, as well as access to common household toiletries and cleaning supplies.

3. Transportation Services
ABAHS does not provide transportation services. However, residents may be assisted in coordinating transportation through external community resources or public transportation systems. Certain locations are situated along public transit routes. Limited assistance in arranging transportation to essential appointments may be provided on a case-by-case basis.

4. Behavioral Health Considerations
Individuals with behavioral health diagnoses may be accepted into the program. Continued residency requires full compliance with all prescribed medications and attendance at all scheduled medical, psychiatric, and therapeutic appointments, as applicable.

5. Financial Requirements and Accepted Payment Sources
All residents must have a verified and reliable source of income. Accepted payment sources include, but are not limited to, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), Veterans Affairs (VA) Disability benefits, Railroad Retirement benefits, or private pay arrangements through family members or foundations.

6. Food Provision
ABAHS does not provide meals. Residents are responsible for purchasing and preparing their own food. The program may offer assistance with nutritional related programming, and donated food items may occasionally be available.

7. Pet Policy
Pets are not permitted within ABAHS residences due to the shared housing environment.

8. Guest and Visitation Policy
Overnight guests are not permitted. Family visits are encouraged and must be coordinated with ABAHS staff in advance to ensure compliance with house policies.

9. Recreational and Social Activities
ABAHS provides access to recreational amenities, which may include television, wireless internet service, board games, and scheduled community or group outings.

10. Safety and Security Measures
All ABAHS residences are equipped with continuous video monitoring of common areas for safety and security purposes. Monitoring is maintained 24 hours per day.

11. Change in Level of Independence
If a resident’s needs exceed the scope of shared living, ABAHS may assist in coordinating referrals or transitions to appropriate partner programs or higher levels of care, as warranted.

12. Kitchen Access and Meal Preparation
Residents are permitted and encouraged to prepare their own meals. Each ABAHS residence includes a fully equipped kitchen with cookware, dishware, utensils, and basic appliances.
